Proactive Messaging

Proactive messaging (also called chat triggers) is when the chatbot sends a message to a visitor without waiting for them to engage first. This can be based on time on page, scroll depth, exit intent, or the specific page being viewed. For example, a visitor who has been on the pricing page for 45 seconds might receive: 'Need help deciding on a plan?' Proactive messaging significantly increases engagement rates compared to passive chat widgets that wait to be clicked.
